EMK Muffin Club! Sunday morning, fresh (and I mean just out of the oven), homemade (and I mean out of a kosher home), yummy (and I do mean yummy!) muffins delivered to your door (inside the eruv). The EMK dozen (twelve delicious muffins) will include three flavors of muffins depending on seasonal fruit, market availability, and general feel of the morning. How do you join? Call me at 617-780-6984 by Erev Shabbos of the previous week, and say (or leave a message) "Efraim, I need muffins!" The cost is $18.00 / dozen muffins. I am not sure I can keep it this low for long - but once you are a member - you keep the price you start with! Please notice, I am now delivering 12 (not thirteen muffins for a dozen. The muffins will all be milchig. But, Efraim, what about other stuff for breakfast!?

The best way to eat a muffin - is as soon as it gets to your house. The next best way is within the first 5 hours. After that, they stay pretty much the same if wrapped and sealed in plastic for about two days. Some say three days. But if you are not going to eat them within three days, you may consider freezing them. Most muffins freeze quite well for about three months. They should be packed in a sealed plastic bag. I would then wrap them in aluminum foil and cover with plastic wrap. To reheat - place the frozen muffins on a cookie sheet and bake for 5 - 10 minutes at 350ºF. |
